Before submitting an application, teachers should familiarize themselves with:

     – areas of research and teaching interest;
     – list of courses taught;
     – experience in international cooperation, participation in projects, publications, etc.
  2. Syllabus of the Course — a syllabus for the selected course, formatted according to the OTH Amberg-Weiden University syllabus template.
    It should include: course title, description, objectives, learning outcomes, content modules, forms of assessment, literature, number of hours, etc.

The lecturer should send all required documents in a single email to the official email address of the TANDEM-UA-DE project coordinators.

In the subject line, please write:
 Application for participation in the TANDEM-UA-DE project — [Last Name, First Name]

In the body of the email, please include:
 – University and department
 – Name of the course offered
 – Confirmation of readiness to teach the course in English
 – Contact information (email and phone number)

After submitting an application:

  • The project coordination group reviews the submitted documents for compliance with formal requirements.
  • Syllabi are evaluated according to criteria such as alignment with the DTM program structure, content quality, and clarity of English-language presentation.
  • If necessary, the lecturer may receive recommendations for revising the materials.

Lecturers who successfully pass the review stage are invited to the in-person selection process.

This stage includes:

  • a short presentation in English (5–10 minutes) in which the lecturer introduces their course;
  • an interview with members of the project coordination group to assess the lecturer’s communication skills, pedagogical approaches, and readiness to integrate into the shared learning environment;

a mandatory demonstration lecture showcasing the lecturer’s teaching style, methods of student interaction, and use of digital tools.

After the in-person selection stage is completed, a final decision will be made regarding the teacher’s participation in the project.

Teachers who have successfully passed all stages of the selection process will receive official confirmation of their participation, along with further instructions on:

– Coordinating curricula
 – Organizing classes in an online or blended format
 – Conditions for the joint use of developed materials by partner universities
